Beginner Sewing for Ages 8-14 Classes 6
These classes are designed for children ages 8–14 who are new to machine sewing or need a refresher. More experienced young sewers are also welcome and will enjoy a variety of fun, skill-building projects. Please note: The 1st Class is required to take any of the following six classes. We will repeat the 1st Class during the summer if there is enough demand.
Students will start with a basic sewing machine tutorial and progress through increasingly advanced projects that build confidence and foundational skills. Each session requires a project kit that is purchased separately, and students will use Top Shelf Quilts’ sewing machines and tools during class time.
Each student will also receive a personal project bag with basic sewing tools. Projects are suitable for all genders and ages, with a wide selection of fabrics available.
Instructor: Tammy
A signed Class Permission/Waiver Form is required to attend any of the classes.
